In my research, on the tear, I have found that it is one of the first Ken-skill's built. Because of this I decided to restore the tear to it's original condition. It's alot more work than I intended to do when I bought the tear, but I think it will be worth it. I'm now searching for Baltic Birch in 4x10 sheets. I will be taking apart the suspension and sending it out to the sandblaster. The usable panels and cabinets will be stripped, sanded and a clear marine urethane will be used on all panels.
